I thought it would be a good
idea to go ahead and get all of our complaints out before we get to
the next tournament. I'll bet the food there will be terrible, and
there will be allot of loud obnoxious kids running around. I think my
kid will lose a match that the refs screwed him on. there, now i will
not be complaining after the tourney

well my son lost because
the ref screwed him over with 2 secs left. I was so pissed off at
the ref i threw my arms up telling him how ignorant he was and my
wifes hot dog with it's water downed ketchup spilled all over her
new purse! Then on the way home she told me she couldn't take my
anger anymore so she asked for a divorce! She left the house and
ran over the dog HE'S DEAD.
 After
that I couldn't help but think about that horriable ref and how he
ruined my whole LIFE!!! Oh well. Little tony has another
tournament next weekend

Waited in registration
line for an hour EVEN THOUGH WE HAD PREREGISTERED TWO WEEKS EARLY.
We had to wait because of the people that didn't pre-register.
While we were in line my 55 pounder drank some gatorade and was
over weight by .1. So we had to pay a ridiculous $80 fee to change
weight classes because they made us wait in line and he was now
overweight. Must have been a conspiracy to make more money for the
club.
So we finally get registered after much complaing on my part -
they didn't understand that he had been cutting from 61 all week
and was thirsty. And they didn't allow him to go pee, then get on
the challegne scales a third time. But they didn't care, just
wanted to make money.
Then we waited for 3 hours to get to the first match, which we
find out as we get to the mat that there is no wrestler named BYE.
So we wait another 4 hours for match #2 - But the other kid got
sick and went home. NO MATCH!!! The next match was another 3 hours
- so 10 hours after weigh-in we finally get to wrestle. This was
the finals and my kid got pinned in 6 seconds in a stupid head and
arm.
We wait for about another 90 minutes as they sort out the medals.
Well, someone took ours instead of theirs. My kid worked hard for
that 2nd place medal - he doesn't want one that says 90 pounds! He
deserves better.
13 hours of waiting in a gym that was too crowded, bad concessions
(ok food was decent, just waaaaay too expensive - $$ again), too
many people in too small of a space. Mat sections were about 4
feet by 4 feet. High school kids were refereeing! The table help
was tired and probably should have run the clock correctly. The
pin was reall like 8 seconds in the first round.
And we didn't even get the right medal that my kid worked his ass
off for all day. |
